Prompt to Video - the avatar video tool - is stated as '16 credits every 6 seconds'. Six seconds is therefore the billing block, so five usable seconds means buying one block: 16 credits x $0.04998 = $0.7997. Ten seconds needs two blocks (32 credits, $1.5994) and fifteen needs three (48 credits, $2.399). Same treatment as the Veo entries, where clips come in fixed lengths and five seconds means paying for six.

the catchWHAT IS STILL MISSING: a duration ceiling. Captions publishes a linear rate and no maximum length for Prompt to Video, so max_seconds is left empty rather than guessed. The same help page prices every other AI feature: AI Edit 10-40 credits, GenAI Image 1-3, GenAI Video 1-20, chat-based editing 2 credits per message plus 1 per action, and a per-model table (Nano Banana Pro 6 credits an image, ElevenLabs Music 10, Sora 2 16 per video). Unused credits roll over up to three times the monthly allowance on Basic and above.
